This morning, November 23rd, 2017, the Vietnam Cinema Department in cooperation with the Danang Department of Culture and Sports visited and presented gifts to people with merit in revolutionary in Da Nang city.

Representatives of the Vietnam Cinema Department: PhD. Ngo Phuong Lan - Director of Cinema Department, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 20th Vietnam Film Festival; Mr. Phan Dinh Thanh - Deputy Director of Cinema Department, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the 20th Vietnam Film Festival; Mr. Do Duy Anh - Deputy Director of Cinema Department, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the 20th Vietnam Film Festival, and Ms. Ly Phuong Dung - Deputy Director of Cinema Department, Member of 20th Vietnam Film Festival’s Organizing Committee. Representatives of Danang Department of Culture and Sports: Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi An - Deputy Director of Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang City, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the 20th Vietnam Film Festival. And Mr. Nguyen Van Chau - Head of the People with merit Department , Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang city.

 

 

 

Delegation to visit Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Nhung

 

The delegation paid a visit to Ms Nguyen Thi Nhung- 88-year-old Vietnamese heroic mother family, who devoted to the revolution and had the only child sacrificed in the war against the Americans and mother Le Thi Chi whose husband and son are martyrs, the second son is wounded soldier. At the meeting, PhD. Ngo Phuong Lan - Director of the Cinema Department, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 20th Vietnam Film Festival sent gratitude to the mothers and expressed her contribution, sacrifice for national peace in particular and the sacrification of families of Vietnamese heroes in this area in general has been and will continue to be the source of inspiration for cinema works.

The 20th Vietnam Film Festival held in Da Nang City from November 24, 2017 to November 28, 2017 with many meaningful activities such as the exhibition "The Impression of Vietnamese Cinema through 20 Vietnam Film Festivals"; Workshop: "The Road to bring ASEAN Cinema to the World"; Workshop: "Vietnam Film Festival in the development of national cinema"; Exchanges between artists and audiences; Outdoor film and fashion show.
